Itinerary

On Day 1, you'll be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and taken to the airport for a one-hour flight to Tumlingtar. Upon arrival, you'll meet your trekking crew, receive a briefing about the trail, and then embark on a drive to Num. The day concludes with an overnight stay at a lodge in Num at an altitude of 440 meters.

On Day 2, the trek begins from Seduwa, descending to reach Arun Nadi. After crossing a suspension bridge, we climb through a dense forest to reach Seduwa. Registration at the National Park office in Seduwa is required, and the day concludes with an overnight stay.

On Day 3, we follow a mostly easy trail, passing through Murmidanda where local children attend school. The path leads uphill to Narbugaon, weaving through hillside forests and cultivated fields until we reach Tashigaun. In Tashigaun, there's an opportunity to purchase any necessary items before settling in for an overnight stay.

On Day 4, the trek begins with a steep ascent through a lovely cloud forest, continuing upward through Unshisa where a break with tea and refreshments is available. The climb extends further to reach Kongma Dada for an overnight stay at an altitude of 3400 meters.

On Day 5, the trek becomes challenging as we ascend steeply towards Kongma La Pass at 4200 meters. The landscape transitions with the treeline diminishing, replaced by rhododendron and juniper bushes. After crossing the pass, we continue to Dobate for the overnight stay.

On Day 6, the early morning trek to Yangri Kharka starts with a path through forests, descending steeply to the river in the first hour, and traversing a challenging trail section. The trail improves after Femtang, and we eventually reach Yangri Kharka for the overnight stay at an altitude of 3500 meters.

On Day 7, the day starts with an early morning trek uphill from Yangri Kharka, offering close-up views of the majestic mountains Chamlang, Peak 6, and Peak 7. The journey continues through a forest of firs and rhododendrons before reaching Yangri Kharka for the overnight stay.

On Day 8, the trek to Jhar Kharka from Yangri Kharka offers breathtaking views of Peak 6 and Peak 7. Upon reaching Jhar Kharka, you can relax, savor local cuisine, and spend the rest of the day, concluding with an overnight stay at an altitude of 4200 meters.

On Day 9, the trek to Makalu Base Camp is a brief and uncomplicated journey. After arriving at the camp, the day is spent resting and exploring the surroundings before proceeding to higher altitudes in the upcoming days.

On Day 10, an extra day at Makalu Base Camp is dedicated to acclimatization and preparation for climbing Sherpani Col. You'll receive training, explore the base camp surroundings, and get ready for the upcoming trek, concluding with an overnight stay.

On Day 11, we ascend to Swiss Camp at 5300 meters, where we wrap up the day's trek. After resting, we prepare for the next leg of our journey, spending the night at Swiss Camp.

On Day 12, we face a somewhat challenging trek to Sherpani Col High Camp at 5600 meters. Ensuring proper acclimatization is crucial, as altitude sickness can have mental and physical effects during the trek.

As we climb up, you'll see the prayer flags, and we are going to cross the Sherpani Col at 6,135m. After crossing the pass, we set up a camp and spend overnight.

On Day 14, we descend and reach Baruntse Camp via West Col at 6240 meters, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of Lhotse and the unique Kangshung face of Everest. The day concludes with an overnight stay at Baruntse Camp at 5700 meters.

On Day 15, we take a break at Baruntse Camp to prepare for the challenging Amphu Laptsa Pass, the third pass of our trek, standing at 5,400 meters. Adequate preparation and acclimatization are essential, and our expert trainers will provide the necessary training and teach the techniques required to climb the pass. The day concludes with an overnight stay at Baruntse Camp.

On Day 16, we continue the trek, reaching Amphu Laptsa High Camp, positioned at 5400 meters, before making our way to the Amphu Laptsa Pass. The camp is set beneath ice cliffs at the junction of two glaciers, where we spend the night.

On Day 17, the trek is lengthy and demanding, offering stunning views of a pristine environment, high mountains, and glaciers. Crossing Amphu Laptsa Pass at 5845 meters, we descend to Chhukung, where you can enjoy the best views of Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, and the summit of Island Peak or Imajatse Peaks. The day concludes with an overnight stay in Chhukung at 4800 meters.

Day 18 :
Rest day

On Day 18, after days of extensive and tiring walks, we take a day of rest in Chhukung. Chhukung, with 6-7 teahouses and lodges, provides a temporary settlement, and the entire day is spent enjoying the majestic mountain views right in front of us.

On Day 19, we descend through a forest of juniper, rhododendron, and pine to reach Namche, enjoying splendid mountain views like Ama Dablam, Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and Lhotse Shar along the way. The night is spent in the Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar at an altitude of 3400 meters.

On Day 20, take a break in Namche at an altitude of 3400 meters, where you can relish delicious restaurant meals, explore the local market, relax in comfortable lodges, and even use a Cybercafe. Namche provides the facilities you may have missed for a while, making it a cozy overnight stay.

On Day 21, trek downhill through farm fields and villages, passing the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. Encounter diverse flora and fauna along the way to Lukla, where you'll spend the night at an altitude of 2880 meters.

On the last day of the Sherpani Col Pass Trek, we take a flight back to Kathmandu, marking the end of our journey and assisting you in reaching your next destination.
