Itinerary

As soon as you arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, one of our team members will warmly welcome you and help you with the transport to reach the Hotel. Till the evening Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. You can also explore the surroundings of your hotel.

Early in the morning you will start your journey to Potala Palace. You get to visit the iconic Potala Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can explore the inspiring beauty of the palace and be fascinated by the arts. In the afternoon, you will continue your sparkling journey by visiting Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. You can now explore Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibetans. This place holds high spiritual belief in Tibetan culture. After that you can stroll around Barkhor Street, a bustling market surrounding the temple. In the market you can communicate with locals and gain a better understanding about their lifestyle.

Next Morning after breakfast at your hotel, you will head towards Drepung Monastery. It is the largest monastery in Tibet. It used to be the residence of the Dalai Lamas until the construction of Potala Palace was finished. It is situated at the base of Mount Gephel. It is one of the three major Gelug university monasteries in Tibet. The other two are Ganden Monastery and Sera Monastery. In the Afternoon you will visit the Sera Monastery. It is known for its lively monk debates. The foothills north of Lhasa house a total of 19 hermitages, including four nunneries, all of which are under the jurisdiction of the original Sera Monastery.

Today you have a day Trip to Yamdrok Lake. It is going to be a mesmerizing Journey to the stunning Yamdrok Lake which is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. After that you need to route towards the Karola Glacier for breathtaking views. In the evening return to Lhasa.

In the Morning, After the breakfast you have your departure. You need to check-out from your hotel. Our team members will help you with the transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport for departure.
